🍽️ Cod Skewers with Peach Cream Cheese

Ingredients
- Cod, frozen 600 g
- Peaches 1 pc.
- Cream cheese, plain 50 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground 1 tsp
- Black Forest ham 8 slices
- Sunflower oil 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Thaw the cod overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Peel the peach and cut it in half.
- 3. Remove the pit from the peach half.
- 4. Puree the peach in a tall container until smooth.
- 5. Place the peach puree into a bowl.
- 6. Add the cream cheese.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 8. Rinse the fish fillets under cold water.
- 9. Pat the fillets dry with a kitchen towel.
- 10. Cut the filts into eight thin strips, depending on their size.
- 11. Place a fish fillet on a slice of ham.
- 12. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese-peach mixture onto the fish.
- 13. Roll the ham and fish tightly.
- 14. Secure the roll with a skewer.
- 15. Oil the grill grate.
- 16. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 17. Grill the skewers for about 10 minutes.
- 18. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- 19. Fry the skewers in the pan for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
