🍽️ Crispy Cod with Fresh Cucumber Dip

Ingredients
- Cod, frozen 600 g
- Lemons 1 pc.
- Cucumbers 1 pc.
- Pickle cucumbers 80 g
- Dill, fresh 10 g
- Mayonnaise 50 g
- sour cream 150 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Sugar pinch
- Sunflower oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Thaw the cod fillets preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Halve a lemon and squeeze out the juice.
- 3. Peel a cucumber and slice it lengthwise into two halves.
- 4. Remove the seeds from the cucumber halves.
- 5. Cut the cucumber flesh into small cubes.
- 6. Take drained pickles and cut them into small cubes as well.
- 7. Wash fresh dill and pat it dry well with a towel.
- 8. Pluck the fine dill tips and chop them finely.
- 9. Put mayonnaise and sour cream into a bowl.
- 10. Mix the two ingredients well together.
- 11. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
- 12. Stir the diced cucumber into the sauce.
- 13. Gently fold in the chopped dill tips.
- 14. Rinse the cod fillets briefly under running water.
- 15. Dry the fillets carefully with a kitchen towel.
- 16. Season the fillets on both sides with salt.
- 17. Heat oil in a pan over high heat.
- 18. Fry the cod fillets for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 19. Drizzle the finished fish with a little lemon juice.
- 20. Serve the cod together with the cucumber remoulade.
