🍽️ Pan-fried Cod on Fresh Avocado-Cucumber Salad

Ingredients
- cod, frozen 600 g
- cucumbers 2 pcs
- onions, red 1 pcs
- avocado 2 pcs
- dill, fresh 10 g
- lemons 1 pcs
- honey 1 tsp
- olive oil 6 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- rose paprika 2 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Thaw the cod in the refrigerator overnight if possible.
- 2. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly.
- 3. Cut off the ends of the cucumbers.
- 4. Halve the cucumbers lengthwise.
- 5. Slice the cucumber halves at a slight angle.
- 6. Halve the onion.
- 7. Slice the onion into strips.
- 8. Cut the avocados in half.
- 9. Remove the pits from the avocado halves.
- 10. Scoop out the flesh of the avocados carefully with a spoon.
- 11. Dice the avocado flesh into small cubes.
- 12. Wash the dill.
- 13. Shake the dill dry.
- 14. Pluck off the fine dill tips from the stems.
- 15. Roughly chop the dill.
- 16. Halve the lemon.
- 17. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 18. Put two tablespoons of lemon juice into a bowl.
- 19. Add honey to the bowl with the lemon juice.
- 20. Add four tablespoons of oil to the bowl.
- 21. Mix the lemon juice, honey, and oil well together.
- 22. Season the dressing with salt.
- 23. Season the dressing with pepper.
- 24. Add the cucumber slices to the bowl with the dressing.
- 25. Add the chopped dill to the bowl.
- 26. Add the onion strips to the bowl.
- 27. Add the avocado cubes to the bowl.
- 28. Gently mix all salad ingredients with the dressing.
- 29. Rinse the cod under cold water.
- 30. Pat the cod dry with paper towels.
- 31. Season the cod with paprika powder.
- 32. Season the cod with salt.

- 34. Put two tablespoons of oil into a pan.
- 35. Heat the oil in the pan on high heat.
- 36. Place the cod in the hot pan.
- 37. Fry the cod for about three minutes on the first side.
- 38. Turn the cod over.

- 40. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 41. Let the cod rest in the pan for about five minutes.
- 42. Finally, adjust the avocado-cucumber salad with salt.

- 44. Distribute the salad onto the plates.
- 45. Place the fried cod on top of the salad.
- 46. Serve the dish immediately.
