  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the blueberries.
  2. 2. Distribute the blueberries evenly into the compartments of an ice cube tray.
  3. 3. Pour water into the tray until the compartments are full.
  4. 4. Place the tray in the freezer until the ice is completely frozen.
  5. 5. Remove the stems from the redcurrants and clean off any debris.
  6. 6. Rinse the orange under running water.
  7. 7. Use a sharp knife or a peeler to cut off a thin strip of the orange peel.
  8. 8. Cut the orange in half.
  9. 9. Squeeze the juice out of the orange halves.
  10. 10. Place the orange juice, redcurrants, and sugar into a saucepan.
  11. 11. Heat the mixture on medium heat until it starts to boil.
  12. 12. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer gently for about 7 minutes.
  13. 13. Pour the warm mixture through a sieve to separate the solid ingredients.
  14. 14. Let the strained syrup cool down to room temperature.
  15. 15. Pour the cooled syrup into a large punch bowl.
  16. 16. Add the frozen blueberry ice cubes to the bowl.
  17. 17. Top up the drink with well-chilled Prosecco.
  18. 18. Serve the cooler immediately and enjoy.
