🥤 Refreshing Redcurrant Cooler

Ingredients
- blueberries, fresh 20 g
- blackcurrants, fresh 50 g
- oranges 1 pc.
- sugar 1 tbsp
- Prosecco 150 ml
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the blueberries.
- 2. Distribute the blueberries evenly into the compartments of an ice cube tray.
- 3. Pour water into the tray until the compartments are full.
- 4. Place the tray in the freezer until the ice is completely frozen.
- 5. Remove the stems from the redcurrants and clean off any debris.
- 6. Rinse the orange under running water.
- 7. Use a sharp knife or a peeler to cut off a thin strip of the orange peel.
- 8. Cut the orange in half.
- 9. Squeeze the juice out of the orange halves.
- 10. Place the orange juice, redcurrants, and sugar into a saucepan.
- 11. Heat the mixture on medium heat until it starts to boil.
- 12. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer gently for about 7 minutes.
- 13. Pour the warm mixture through a sieve to separate the solid ingredients.
- 14. Let the strained syrup cool down to room temperature.
- 15. Pour the cooled syrup into a large punch bowl.
- 16. Add the frozen blueberry ice cubes to the bowl.
- 17. Top up the drink with well-chilled Prosecco.
- 18. Serve the cooler immediately and enjoy.
