🍰 Moist Yogurt Clementine Cake

Ingredients
- Oranges 1 pc
- Clementine 350 g
- Yogurt, plain 130 g
- Sugar 200 g
- Vanilla Sugar 40 g
- Salt pinch
- Sunflower oil 150 ml
- Eggs 3 pc
- Wheat flour, Type 405 250 g
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Powdered sugar 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the orange thoroughly.
- 3. Grate about one teaspoon of the orange zest.
- 4. Peel the clementines completely using a sharp knife.
- 5. Remove the white inner pith as well.
- 6. Cut the fruit segments out of the membranes with V-shaped cuts.
- 7. Take a large bowl.
- 8. Mix the yogurt, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and oil in it.
- 9. Beat the eggs into the yogurt mixture.
- 10. Add the flour, baking powder, and the grated orange zest.
- 11. Stir all ingredients well.
- 12. Gently fold the clementine segments into the batter.
- 13. Grease a loaf pan with butter.
- 14. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- 15. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes.
- 16. Cover the cake with aluminum foil after 30 minutes.
- 17. Let the cake cool on a wire rack.
- 18. Remove the cake from the pan.
- 19. Dust it with powdered sugar.
- 20. Serve the cake and enjoy it.
