🥤 Homemade Ginger-Lemon Syrup

Ingredients
- ginger, fresh 100 g
- lemons 1 pc.
- brown sugar 150 g
- water 400 ml
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger and cut it into very small cubes or grate it finely.
- 2. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 3. Add the ginger, brown sugar, water, and lemon juice to a pot.
- 4. Heat the mixture on medium heat until it comes to a boil.
- 5. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
- 6. Let the syrup steep gently for about 30 minutes.
- 7. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove the ginger pieces.
- 8. Pour the hot syrup immediately into sterilized jars or bottles.
- 9. Seal the containers tightly right after filling.
- 10. Store the syrup in a cool, dark place until you are ready to use it.
