  1. 1. Wash the ginger with the skin under hot water.
  2. 2. Pat the ginger dry.
  3. 3. Cut the ginger into large pieces.
  4. 4. Put the ginger pieces into the mixing container.
  5. 5. Insert the measuring cup into the lid.
  6. 6. Crush the ginger for 10 seconds on speed 6.
  7. 7. Push the ginger pieces down the inner wall of the container with a spatula.
  8. 8. Wash the lemons under hot water.
  9. 9. Dry the lemons.
  10. 10. Peel the lemons with a vegetable peeler into 2 cm wide strips.
  11. 11. Squeeze the juice from the lemons.
  12. 12. Add the lemon peels and juice to the mixing container.
  13. 13. Add the sugar to the mixing container.
  14. 14. Add 1 liter of warm water to the mixing container.
  15. 15. Remove the measuring cup from the lid.
  16. 16. Cook the mixture for 30 minutes on speed 1 at 100 degrees Celsius.
  17. 17. Place the cooking insert on the lid as a splash guard.
  18. 18. Let the syrup cool down.
  19. 19. Pour the syrup through a sieve.
  20. 20. Catch the drained liquid.
  21. 21. Fill the syrup into sterile bottles.
  22. 22. Chill the bottles.
