🥤 Fresh Ginger-Lemon Syrup

Ingredients
- ginger, fresh 300 g
- organic lemons 500 g
- sugar 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the ginger with the skin under hot water.
- 2. Pat the ginger dry.
- 3. Cut the ginger into large pieces.
- 4. Put the ginger pieces into the mixing container.
- 5. Insert the measuring cup into the lid.
- 6. Crush the ginger for 10 seconds on speed 6.
- 7. Push the ginger pieces down the inner wall of the container with a spatula.
- 8. Wash the lemons under hot water.
- 9. Dry the lemons.
- 10. Peel the lemons with a vegetable peeler into 2 cm wide strips.
- 11. Squeeze the juice from the lemons.
- 12. Add the lemon peels and juice to the mixing container.
- 13. Add the sugar to the mixing container.
- 14. Add 1 liter of warm water to the mixing container.
- 15. Remove the measuring cup from the lid.
- 16. Cook the mixture for 30 minutes on speed 1 at 100 degrees Celsius.
- 17. Place the cooking insert on the lid as a splash guard.
- 18. Let the syrup cool down.
- 19. Pour the syrup through a sieve.
- 20. Catch the drained liquid.
- 21. Fill the syrup into sterile bottles.
- 22. Chill the bottles.
