🍽️ Tender Pork Roast from the Casserole

Ingredients
- pork neck roast 1 kg
- BBQ herb spice 2 tbsp
- onions, red 4 pcs
- garlic cloves 2 pcs
- vegetable broth 1 L
- tomato paste 8 tbsp
- bay leaves, dried 2 pcs
- white beans in the can 400 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the pork neck roast under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Rub the BBQ herb mixture evenly over the meat.
- 4. Halve the onions and remove the outer skin.
- 5. Dice the onions into coarse chunks.
- 6. Press the garlic cloves lightly with the flat side of a knife.
- 7. Remove the skin from the garlic.
- 8. Mix the vegetable broth if it is not yet liquid.
- 9. Mix the broth with the tomato paste.
- 10. Place the meat, onions, garlic, broth mixture, and bay leaves into a fireproof casserole dish.
- 11. Preheat the grill to the desired temperature.
- 12. Place the casserole dish on the grill grate.
- 13. Simmer the meat for about 1.5 hours.
- 14. Drain the beans in a sieve.
- 15. Add the drained beans to the casserole dish.
- 16. Let everything cook on the grill for another 30 minutes.
- 17. Remove the pork roast from the casserole dish.
- 18. Let the meat cool down briefly.
- 19. Season the roast to taste with salt and pepper.
- 20. Serve the dish and enjoy your meal.
