  1. 1. Rinse the pork neck roast under running water.
  2. 2. Pat the meat completely dry with kitchen paper.
  3. 3. Rub the BBQ herb mixture evenly over the meat.
  4. 4. Halve the onions and remove the outer skin.
  5. 5. Dice the onions into coarse chunks.
  6. 6. Press the garlic cloves lightly with the flat side of a knife.
  7. 7. Remove the skin from the garlic.
  8. 8. Mix the vegetable broth if it is not yet liquid.
  9. 9. Mix the broth with the tomato paste.
  10. 10. Place the meat, onions, garlic, broth mixture, and bay leaves into a fireproof casserole dish.
  11. 11. Preheat the grill to the desired temperature.
  12. 12. Place the casserole dish on the grill grate.
  13. 13. Simmer the meat for about 1.5 hours.
  14. 14. Drain the beans in a sieve.
  15. 15. Add the drained beans to the casserole dish.
  16. 16. Let everything cook on the grill for another 30 minutes.
  17. 17. Remove the pork roast from the casserole dish.
  18. 18. Let the meat cool down briefly.
  19. 19. Season the roast to taste with salt and pepper.
  20. 20. Serve the dish and enjoy your meal.
