  1. 1. Finely chop and crush the cloves. In a bowl, thoroughly mix the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, the crushed cloves, and salt. In a pot, heat the apple juice over high heat for about 3 minutes. Meanwhile, wash the orange, cut it in half lengthwise, and slice it.
  2. 2. Distribute the rum evenly among the glasses and add 1 tsp of the spiced butter to each. Fill with the hot apple juice, place an orange slice on top, and serve. Cheers!
