  1. 1. Put 500 milliliters of water and the sugar into a pot.
  2. 2. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly.
  3. 3. Let the syrup simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove the raspberries from their stems.
  5. 5. Wash the lemons thoroughly.
  6. 6. Cut one lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
  7. 7. Slice the second lemon into thin rounds.
  8. 8. Add the raspberries, lemon slices, and lemon juice to the pot with the hot syrup.
  9. 9. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes.
  10. 10. Remove the pot from the heat and let the lemonade steep for 10 minutes.
  11. 11. Pour the syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a clean bowl.
  12. 12. Gently press the fruit in the sieve to extract the last bit of flavor.
  13. 13. Fill the hot syrup immediately into a bottle or a screw-top jar.
  14. 14. Seal the container airtight.
  15. 15. Place the container upside down on its lid for 5 minutes.
  16. 16. Turn the container right side up and let the syrup cool down completely.
  17. 17. Store the syrup refrigerated in the fridge.
  18. 18. Mix the lemonade in a ratio of 1 part syrup to 2.5 parts sparkling water.
