🍽️ Savory Waffle BLT Sandwich

Ingredients
- Oil 80 ml
- Buttermilk 500 ml
- Eggs 2 pcs.
- Wheat flour, Type 550 260 g
- Baking powder 1 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- bacon 250 g
- Iceberg lettuce 0.5 pcs.
- Vine tomatoes 2 pcs.
- Mayonnaise 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, mix the oil, buttermilk, and eggs well. Add flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt and stir in gently.
- 2. Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it. Pour one ladle of batter into the mold and bake the waffles golden brown for about 2–3 minutes.
- 3. Meanwhile, heat a pan without fat over medium to high heat and fry the bacon crispy in it for about 4–6 minutes. Halve the lettuce head, remove the core, separate the leaves individually, and wash them. Wash the tomatoes, remove the core, and slice them thinly.
- 4. Spread the finished waffles with mayonnaise. Then top with lettuce, bacon, and tomatoes, and finish with another waffle. Secure the waffle BLT sandwich with a toothpick if desired and serve. Enjoy your meal!
