🍽️ Savory Monkey Bread

Ingredients
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- water 250 ml
- sugar 1 tsp
- wheat flour, type 405 500 g
- salt pinch
- oil for greasing 1 tbsp
- parmesan 50 g
- pesto alla genovese 50 g
- red pesto 50 g
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and sugar.
- 2. Let the mixture rest covered for about 10 minutes.
- 3. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture.
- 4. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 5. Let the dough rise covered in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 6. Wait until the dough volume has doubled.
- 7. Grease a Bundt pan well.
- 8. Grate the Parmesan finely.
- 9. Place the pesto on deep plates.
- 10. Knead the dough briefly again on a lightly floured work surface.
- 11. Divide the dough into about 20 equal-sized balls.
- 12. Roll each ball in either the pesto or the Parmesan.
- 13. Place the balls into the prepared baking pan.
- 14. Let the monkey bread rise for another 30 minutes.
- 15. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 16. Bake the monkey bread in the oven for about 30 minutes.
- 17. Let the baked goods cool down afterwards.
- 18. Serve the monkey bread and enjoy.
