Instructions
- 1. Add the butter in chunks, a pinch of salt, the egg, and the flour to a mixing bowl and process for 1 min. 30 sec./dough kneading setting with the measuring cup inserted to form a homogeneous dough. If the mixture is too firm, add 1 tbsp cold water and knead again for 20 sec./setting 4.
- 2. Shape the dough into a ball and wrap it in cling film. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 min. Afterward, continue processing and baking the savory shortcrust pastry as indicated in the recipe. Enjoy!
