🍽️ Savory Apricot Dip

Ingredients
- apricots, fresh 300 g
- pepper, red 1 pc.
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- thyme, fresh 1 g
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sugar pinch
- mustard 2 tsp
- crème fraîche 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the apricots thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut the apricots in half and remove the pits.
- 3. Dice the pitted apricots into small pieces.
- 4. Wash the bell pepper thoroughly.
- 5. Cut the bell pepper in half and remove the core with the seeds.
- 6. Dice the cored bell pepper.
- 7. Cut the onion in half.
- 8. Peel off the outer skin of the onion.
- 9. Finely chop the onion.
- 10. Rinse the thyme under water.
- 11. Dry the thyme with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Carefully pluck the thyme leaves from the stems.
- 13. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 14. Add the cut vegetables to the hot pan.
- 15. Sauté the vegetables for about 5 to 8 minutes until they are soft.
- 16. Season the mixture with salt.
- 17. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 18. Add the plucked thyme leaves to the pan.
- 19. Add a small pinch of sugar.
- 20. Let the seasoned vegetable mixture cool down.
- 21. Stir the mustard into the cooled mixture.
- 22. Stir the crème fraîche into the mixture.
- 23. Serve the finished dip with grilled meat or potatoes.
