  6. 6. Add oil, buttermilk, the lemon zest, and the eggs to a bowl.
  7. 7. Whisk these ingredients well together.
  8. 8. Add flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt to the bowl.
  9. 9. Fold everything in gently until a smooth batter forms.
