  1. 1. Mix flour, baking powder, cane sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and ground almonds in a large bowl.
  2. 2. Add one egg and cubed butter to the flour mixture.
  3. 3. Knead the dough with a hand mixer and dough hooks until well combined.
  4. 4. Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it briefly by hand on a work surface.
  5. 5. Wrap the dough in cling film.
  6. 6. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  8. 8. Take two-thirds of the dough out of the refrigerator.
  9. 9. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
  10. 10. Grease a springform pan.
  11. 11. Place the rolled-out dough into the springform pan.
  12. 12. Press a border about 2 cm high up the sides.
  13. 13. Fill the jam evenly into the dough base.
  14. 14. Press the overhanging dough edge slightly downwards to smooth it.
  15. 15. Take the remaining third of the dough out of the refrigerator.
  16. 16. Roll out this part of the dough as well.
  17. 17. Cut out small hearts from the dough.
  18. 18. Place the hearts on top of the jam.
  19. 19. Bake the tart for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
  20. 20. Take the tart out of the oven.
  21. 21. Let the tart rest in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  22. 22. Carefully release the tart from the pan.
  23. 23. Place the tart on a cooling rack.
  24. 24. Let the tart cool completely.
  25. 25. Dust the tart with powdered sugar if desired.
  26. 26. Serve the tart and enjoy.
