  1. 1. Cut open the pomegranate and squeeze out the juice. In a pot, bring the pomegranate juice and sugar to a boil over medium heat, then let the syrup cool down.
  2. 2. Cut the grapefruit in half and slice off two thin slices for decoration. Squeeze the rest of the grapefruit.
  3. 3. Add 3 cl pomegranate syrup, 3 cl grapefruit juice, and 4 cl rum to a cocktail shaker and mix vigorously.
  4. 4. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice cubes and serve immediately decorated with the grapefruit slices. Cheers!
