Ingredients
- butter 2 tbsp
- Wheat flour, Type 405 2 tbsp
- Milk 200 ml
- Vegetable broth 200 ml
- Nutmeg, ground pinch
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Heat a pot on medium heat.
- 2. Let the butter melt in the pot.
- 3. Sift the flour over the melted butter.
- 4. Stir the flour constantly for about 2 minutes until it turns light yellow.
- 5. Deglaze the mixture with milk while stirring constantly.
- 6. Add the vegetable broth and continue stirring.
- 7. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 8 minutes.
- 8. Stir occasionally until the sauce is slightly thick.
- 9. Season the sauce with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- 10. Serve the sauce with light meat or vegetables.
