  1. 1. Peel the ginger and slice it thinly. Bring about 1 liter of water to a boil in a pot and let it steep covered for about 10 minutes over medium heat.
  2. 2. Wash the lemon thoroughly, use a vegetable peeler to remove a thin layer of the peel from half of it, and add it to the pot. Let it steep for another 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Cut the lemon in half, squeeze it, and add the juice to the ginger tea. Pour through a sieve into four cups and sweeten to taste. Enjoy!
