  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

  6. 6. Let the berries steep for about 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Strain the blueberries through a sieve.
  8. 8. Catch the released juice in a container.
  9. 9. Place the juice, lemon juice, cane sugar, and vanilla sugar into a clean pot.
  10. 10. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  11. 11. Let the syrup simmer for about 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Pour the hot syrup into sterilized jars or bottles.
  13. 13. Seal the containers immediately.
  14. 14. Store the syrup in a cool, dark place until you are ready to use it.
