🍰 Juicy Blueberry-Apple Jam

Ingredients
- blueberries, fresh 500 g
- apples, red 2 pcs.
- cinnamon stick 1 pcs.
- sugar 1 tbsp
- water 250 ml
- cornstarch 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the blueberries under running water.
- 2. Remove any unripe berries or leaves.
- 3. Peel the apples completely.
- 4. Cut the apples into four equal quarters.
- 5. Remove the core from each apple piece.
- 6. Cut the apple pieces into small cubes.
- 7. Place the blueberries and apple cubes into a pot.
- 8. Add a cinnamon stick to the pot.
- 9. Add the sugar to the pot.
- 10. Pour some water into the pot.
- 11. Heat the pot until the mixture comes to a boil.
- 12. Reduce the heat to the medium setting.
- 13. Cover the pot with a lid.
- 14. Let the fruits simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 15. Take the cinnamon stick out of the pot.
- 16. Roughly puree the fruits with a spoon or immersion blender.
- 17. Take a small bowl.
- 18. Put the starch into the bowl.
- 19. Pour some cold water over the starch.
- 20. Stir the mixture until smooth, with no lumps left.
- 21. Pour the starch-water mixture into the pot with the fruits.
- 22. Stir well to distribute the starch.
- 23. Let the mixture simmer lightly for another 3 minutes.
- 24. Taste the blueberry compote.
- 25. Serve the compote lukewarm or cold.
