Ingredients
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- water 250 ml
- sugar 1 tsp
- wheat flour, Type 405 500 g
- salt pinch
Instructions
- 1. Put the yeast, sugar, and lukewarm water into a bowl.
- 2. Stir the mixture until the yeast and sugar have dissolved.
- 3. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for ten minutes.
- 4. Add the flour and salt to the bowl.
- 5. Knead the ingredients until a smooth dough forms.
- 6. Place the dough in a warm spot and cover it.
- 7. Let the dough rise for about one hour until it has doubled in size.
- 8. Knead the dough briefly again after it has risen.
- 9. Continue working the dough on a slightly floured surface.
- 10. If necessary, let the dough rise again, covered, for one hour.
- 11. Bake your dough as desired, for example as a loaf of bread or on a baking sheet.
- 12. When using dry yeast, use one packet per 500 grams of flour.
