🍰 Crunchy Hazelnut Chocolate Balls

Ingredients
- all-purpose flour, Type 405 130 g
- baking powder 1 tsp
- salt pinch
- hazelnut kernels, ground 60 g
- chocolate sprinkles, dark chocolate 30 g
- vanilla sugar 1 tsp
- sugar 50 g
- butter 100 g
- powdered sugar 50 g
Instructions
- 1. Put flour, baking powder, salt, chopped hazelnuts, chocolate chips, vanilla sugar, and granulated sugar into a large bowl.
- 2. Mix all the dry ingredients well together.
- 3. Add the softened butter to the mixture.
- 4. Knead everything with your hands until a firm and compact dough forms.
- 5. Wrap the dough tightly in cling film.
- 6. Put the foil with the dough in the fridge for about 2 hours to let it rest.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan (convection).
- 8. Take small portions of the dough that are about the size of a walnut.
- 9. Roll these portions into round balls.
- 10. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- 11. Place the dough balls on the tray with some space between them.
- 12. Bake the balls in the oven for about 12 minutes.
- 13. Take the tray out of the oven and let the balls cool down completely.
- 14. Spread powdered sugar on a flat plate.
- 15. Roll the cooled balls all around in the powdered sugar.
- 16. Store the finished snowballs in a closed container.
