Ingredients
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- mushrooms, brown 250 g
- oil 1 tbsp
- ham cubes 150 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- pizza dough with tomato sauce 1 pc.
- Gouda, grated 200 g
- crème fraîche 150 g
- chives, fresh 20 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat). Halve and peel the onions, then dice them. Clean the mushrooms if necessary with kitchen paper and slice them.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan over high heat and sauté the onions together with the mushrooms for about 3 minutes. Add the ham and cook everything for another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Let the mushrooms cool down briefly and mix them in a bowl with the cheese.
- 3. Roll out the pizza dough on baking paper and lightly roll it with a rolling pin; you can use the tomato sauce for something else. Place the mushroom-ham mixture lengthwise in the center of the pizza dough, covering one third of the dough, and leave about 5 cm of dough free at the short ends.
- 4. Fold the short ends over the filling. Then lay the long, untopped dough edges over the filling so that the dough overlaps and completely covers the filling. Press the dough lightly and carefully turn the roll so that the seam is at the bottom.
- 5. Press into the filled dough roll with the handle of a ladle at intervals of about 8 cm to form 4 pieces of hand sandwich. Lightly score the surface of the dough down to the filling. Bake the hand sandwiches for approx. 30 minutes in the oven.
- 6. Wash the chives, shake them dry and cut them into fine rings. Season the crème fraîche in a bowl with salt and pepper and stir in the chives.
- 7. Take the hand sandwiches with ham and mushrooms out of the oven. Divide them into 4 pieces at the cuts and serve them with a dollop of crème fraîche. Enjoy your meal!
