🍽️ Burgers with fresh tomato-basil salsa and mozzarella

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 2 pcs.
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- cherry tomatoes 150 g
- basil, fresh 40 g
- balsamic vinegar, light 2 tbsp
- olive oil 3 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sugar pinch
- lemons 1 pcs.
- paprika, sweet pinch
- mayonnaise 6 tbsp
- mozzarella 1 pcs.
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- ground pork 600 g
- ketchup 3 tsp
- mustard 1 tsp
- eggs 1 pcs.
- breadcrumbs 4 tbsp
- oil 3 tbsp
- hamburger buns 4 pcs.
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onions in half and peel them. Dice the onions finely.
- 2. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 3. Cut the tomatoes in half.
- 4. Wash the basil and pat it dry. Pick the leaves off the stems and chop them roughly.
- 5. Take a bowl and add half of the diced onions and the chopped garlic.
- 6. Add the halved tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil to the onion-garlic mixture.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and sugar.
- 8. Mix everything well in the bowl.
- 9. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 10. Take a second bowl and add paprika powder, one tablespoon of lemon juice, and mayonnaise.
- 11. Stir the mayonnaise-lemon mixture well.
- 12. Place the bowl in the fridge until you need the sauce.
- 13. Slice the mozzarella.
- 14. Wash the parsley and pat it dry.
- 15. Pick the parsley leaves off the stems.
- 16. Chop the parsley leaves finely.
- 17. Take a third bowl and add the remaining garlic and onions.
- 18. Add the minced meat, chopped parsley, ketchup, mustard, an egg, and breadcrumbs to the bowl.
- 19. Mix the meat mixture well with your hands or a spoon.
- 20. Season the meat mixture with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 21. Form four equal-sized patties from the mixture.
- 22. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over medium to high heat.
- 23. Place the patties in the hot pan.
- 24. Fry the patties for about five minutes per side until golden brown.
- 25. Remove the cooked patties from the pan.
- 26. Let the patties rest for a short moment.
- 27. Cut the buns in half.
- 28. Place the bun halves in the pan drippings.
- 29. Toast the buns over medium heat for about two minutes until golden brown.
- 30. Top the bun halves with mozzarella slices as desired.
- 31. Add the paprika mayonnaise sauce to the buns.
- 32. Add the tomato-basil salsa to the buns.
- 33. Place the patties on top and serve the burgers.
