🍰 Spooky Halloween Cake

Ingredients
- butter 300 g
- sugar 180 g
- vanilla sugar 8 g
- salt pinch
- eggs 5 pcs
- wheat flour, type 405 250 g
- cocoa powder 100 g
- baking powder 2 tsp
- lemons 1 pcs
- powdered sugar 125 g
- fruit gum, bats 50 g
- edible fruit gum strings, green 50 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Take a large bowl and beat the soft butter with a hand mixer until creamy.
- 3. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, and the eggs alternately to the bowl and mix them in.
- 4. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- 5. Mix the ingredients briefly until a smooth batter forms.
- 6. Line a springform pan with baking paper and lightly grease the sides.
- 7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- 8. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
- 9. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
- 10. Halve a lemon and squeeze out the juice.
- 11. Mix 2 tablespoons of lemon juice with the remaining sifted powdered sugar to create a liquid glaze.
- 12. Pour the glaze over the surface of the cooled cake.
- 13. Decorate the cake with bat figurines, rubber bands, and gummy animals.
- 14. Wait for the sugar glaze to set and serve the cake.
