🍽️ Spooky Sausage Hand from the Oven

Ingredients
- yellow onions 1 pc.
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- tomato paste 1 tbsp
- sugar 1 tbsp
- passata tomatoes 400 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- Vienna sausages 18 pc.
- almonds, sliced 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onion and remove the skin.
- 2. Dice the onion into small cubes.
- 3. Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
- 4. Sauté the onion cubes for about two minutes until translucent.
- 5. Stir in tomato paste and one tablespoon of sugar with the onions.
- 6. Fry the mixture for about one minute.
- 7. Add the tomatoes and let the sauce simmer on low heat for five minutes.
- 8. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- 9. Rinse the sausages and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
- 10. Cut two sausages in half crosswise to form thumbs.
- 11. Trim the remaining sausages to three-quarters of their original length.
- 12. Trim the ends of the sausages to create clean finger tips.
- 13. Place an almond slice on each sausage end as a fingernail.
- 14. Make two small cuts in the middle of each finger to simulate knuckles.
- 15. Place the sausage fingers on a plate and arrange them into a hand shape.
- 16. Cover the sausage tips with the prepared tomato sauce.
- 17. Arrange the spooky sausage hand and serve it.
