  3. 3. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, a pinch of salt, and cocoa in a bowl.
  4. 4. Add the soft butter, egg, vanilla extract, and gradually the buttermilk.
  5. 5. Stir everything together until you have a smooth dough.
  6. 6. Portion the dough using a medium ice cream scoop.
  7. 7. Distribute the dough portions evenly on the trays, leaving enough space between them.
  8. 8. Bake all trays simultaneously in the preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius fan-forced for 13 to 14 minutes.
  9. 9. Remove the trays from the oven.
  10. 10. Let the cookies cool down completely on the trays.
  11. 11. Beat the soft butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract for 3 to 4 minutes until white and creamy.
  12. 12. Color the cream with the food coloring.
  13. 13. Stir the cream cheese into the colored cream.
  14. 14. Fill the cream into a piping bag with a large round tip.
  15. 15. Take two cookies of approximately the same shape.
  16. 16. Place one cookie with the smooth side facing up.
  17. 17. Pipe some cream onto the smooth side.
  18. 18. Place the second cookie on top with the smooth side facing down.
  19. 19. Gently press the two cookies together.
  20. 20. Melt the chocolate coating in the microwave or over a bain-marie.
  21. 21. Fill the melted chocolate into a small piping bag or freezer bag.
  22. 22. Pipe spider webs with the chocolate onto the whoopie pies.
