🍽️ Grilled Chicken Schnitzels with Eggplant and Cheese

Ingredients
- minute schnitzel from chicken 600 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Oregano, dried 1 tsp
- Eggplants 1 pc
- Gouda sliced cheese 4 slices
Instructions
- 1. Place the wooden skewers in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for a while.
- 2. Rinse the chicken schnitzels under running water.
- 3. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Place the schnitzels between two layers of cling film.
- 5. Gently flatten the meat with a flat object until it is evenly thin.
- 6. Season the chicken schnitzels on both sides with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- 7. Wash the eggplant thoroughly under running water.
- 8. Slice the eggplant into round slices.
- 9. Halve the cheese slices.
- 10. Distribute the cheese pieces evenly over the seasoned chicken schnitzels.
- 11. Place 2 to 3 slices of eggplant on top of the cheese.
- 12. Thread the topped schnitzels firmly onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- 13. Place the skewers on the hot grill with the topped side facing down.
- 14. Grill the schnitzels for about 5 to 7 minutes.
- 15. Turn the skewers over.
- 16. Grill the other side for another 7 to 10 minutes until the meat is fully cooked.
- 17. Carefully remove the skewers from the grill.
- 18. Plate the schnitzels and serve them.
