  1. 1. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
  2. 2. Halve the bell peppers and remove the stem and seeds.
  3. 3. Cut the bell peppers into thin strips.
  4. 4. Wash the broccoli and remove the tough stem.
  5. 5. Peel the carrots and trim the ends.
  6. 6. Halve the carrots lengthwise and slice them thinly.
  7. 7. Wash the snow peas and halve them.
  8. 8. Place all the prepared vegetables into the deep steaming insert.
  9. 9. Wash the chicken and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  10. 10. Cut the chicken into cubes of about two centimeters.
  11. 11. Place the chicken cubes into a bowl.
  12. 12. Season the chicken cubes with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  13. 13. Place a sheet of baking paper into the shallow steaming insert.
  14. 14. Distribute the seasoned chicken cubes evenly on the baking paper.
  15. 15. Add one teaspoon of salt to the mixing container.
  16. 16. Place the rice into the cooking insert.
  17. 17. Hang the cooking insert into the appliance.
  18. 18. Fill 1.5 liters of hot water into the mixing container.
  19. 19. Place the steaming inserts onto the appliance.
  20. 20. Close the appliance securely.
  21. 21. Steam the dish for 20 minutes on the steam cooking setting.
  22. 22. Drain the pineapple and catch the liquid in a container.
  23. 23. Remove the steaming inserts from the appliance and keep them warm.
  24. 24. Remove the cooking insert with the rice.
  25. 25. Empty the mixing container and catch 200 milliliters of the cooking liquid.
  26. 26. Add the collected cooking liquid, 200 grams of pineapple juice, soy sauce, tomato paste, sugar, and vinegar to the mixing container.
  27. 27. Simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes at 100 degrees on level 2.
  28. 28. Mix cornstarch with a little cold water in a small bowl.
  29. 29. Slowly pour the starch-water mixture through the lid opening into the boiling sauce.
  30. 30. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  31. 31. Place the cooked vegetables, chicken, and pineapple chunks into a large bowl.
  32. 32. Mix everything thoroughly with the sauce.
  33. 33. Serve the dish together with the rice.
