  1. 1. Rinse the orange under running water.
  2. 2. Finely grate about one teaspoon of the peel.
  3. 3. Cut the orange in half and squeeze out the juice.
  4. 4. Rinse the chicken meat under cold water.
  5. 5. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
  6. 6. Cut the meat into about 16 thin strips.
  7. 7. Place the chicken strips in a bowl.
  8. 8. Add the grated orange peel.
  9. 9. Pour in the orange juice.
  10. 10. Add oil, curry powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  11. 11. Mix everything well so the meat is marinated.
  12. 12. Set the bowl aside to let the marinade work.
  13. 13. Place the wooden skewers in a container with water.
  14. 14. Let the skewers soak in the water.
  15. 15. Let the marinated chicken strips drain slightly.
  16. 16. Thread the meat strips onto the skewers in a wavy pattern.
  17. 17. Preheat your grill.
  18. 18. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
  19. 19. Turn the skewers regularly.
  20. 20. Grill the skewers for about 6 minutes.
  21. 21. Remove the skewers from the grill when they are crispy.
