🍽️ Chicken Skewers with Orange Curry Marinade

Ingredients
- Oranges 1 pc
- Chicken breast fillets 600 g
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Curry powder pinch
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the orange under running water.
- 2. Finely grate about one teaspoon of the peel.
- 3. Cut the orange in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 4. Rinse the chicken meat under cold water.
- 5. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Cut the meat into about 16 thin strips.
- 7. Place the chicken strips in a bowl.
- 8. Add the grated orange peel.
- 9. Pour in the orange juice.
- 10. Add oil, curry powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- 11. Mix everything well so the meat is marinated.
- 12. Set the bowl aside to let the marinade work.
- 13. Place the wooden skewers in a container with water.
- 14. Let the skewers soak in the water.
- 15. Let the marinated chicken strips drain slightly.
- 16. Thread the meat strips onto the skewers in a wavy pattern.
- 17. Preheat your grill.
- 18. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 19. Turn the skewers regularly.
- 20. Grill the skewers for about 6 minutes.
- 21. Remove the skewers from the grill when they are crispy.
- 22. Lightly salt the skewers before serving.
- 23. Alternatively, fry the skewers in a hot grill pan all around for about 5 to 6 minutes.
