🍽️ Crispy Chicken Thighs with Honey Potato Wedges, Cucumber Sticks and Herb Quark

Ingredients
- chicken drumsticks 800 g
- oil 3 tbsp
- chicken seasoning salt 4 g
- honey 3 tbsp
- potatoes, floury 1 kg
- salt pinch
- chives, fresh 10 g
- dill, fresh 20 g
- quark 40% fat in dry matter 250 g
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sugar pinch
- paprika, sweet pinch
- salad cucumbers 1 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Rinse the chicken thighs under cold water.
- 3. Pat the meat completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 4. Place the chicken thighs in a bowl.
- 5. Add 1 tablespoon of oil, chicken seasoning salt, and 2 tablespoons of honey.
- 6. Mix everything well so the meat is evenly coated.
- 7. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 8. Cut the potatoes into quarters or eighths depending on their size.
- 9. Bring the potato pieces to a boil in a large pot with salted water.
- 10. Cook the potatoes covered for about 15 minutes over medium heat.
- 11. Place the marinated chicken thighs on a baking sheet.
- 12. Bake the chicken thighs for about 25 minutes in the oven.
- 13. Rinse the chives and dill under cold water.
- 14. Shake the herbs dry.
- 15. Cut the chives into thin rings about 2 millimeters thick.
- 16. Finely chop the dill.
- 17. Add quark, dill, and chives to the bowl previously used.
- 18. Season the quark mixture with salt, pepper, sugar, and paprika.
- 19. Mix the ingredients for the quark well together.
- 20. Rinse the cucumber under running water.
- 21. Peel the cucumber according to your preference.
- 22. Cut the cucumber lengthwise into four parts.
- 23. Remove the seeds from the cucumber quarters.
- 24. Halve the seeded cucumber pieces lengthwise.
- 25. Cut the cucumber halves into three equal lengths.
- 26. Place the finished cucumber sticks into shallow glasses or small bowls.
- 27. Drain the cooked potatoes using a lid.
- 28. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 29. Fry the potatoes together with 1 tablespoon of honey and ½ teaspoon of salt for about 3 minutes.
- 30. Take the chicken thighs out of the oven.
- 31. Plate the chicken thighs.
- 32. Serve the chicken thighs with the honey potatoes and chive quark.
- 33. Serve the cucumber sticks on the side.
