🍽️ Minced Meat Filling in a Bread Boat

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 2 pcs.
- carrots 2 pcs.
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- oil 2 tbsp
- minced meat, mixed 400 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- marjoram, dried pinch
- crusty bread 1 loaf
- eggs 4 pcs.
- white wine, dry 100 ml
- whipping cream 200 g
- Emmental grated 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan mode.
- 2. Halve the onions and peel off the skin.
- 3. Dice the onions finely.
- 4. Wash the carrots thoroughly.
- 5. Peel the carrots.
- 6. Trim the ends off the carrots.
- 7. Dice the carrots finely.
- 8. Wash the parsley.
- 9. Shake the parsley dry.
- 10. Remove the thick stems from the parsley.
- 11. Chop the parsley finely.
- 12. Heat the oil in a pot over high heat.
- 13. Brown the minced meat for about 3 minutes.
- 14. Add the carrots and onions to the meat.
- 15. Sauté the vegetables for another 4 minutes.
- 16. Season the mixture with salt.
- 17. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 18. Season the mixture with marjoram.
- 19. Slice the loaf of bread horizontally through the middle.
- 20. Hollow out the inside of the bread.
- 21. Place the eggs in a bowl.
- 22. Add the wine to the bowl.
- 23. Add the cream to the bowl.
- 24. Add the cheese to the bowl.
- 25. Add the parsley to the bowl.
- 26. Mix the ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 27. Fill the minced meat mixture into the bread halves.
- 28. Spread the egg-cream mixture over the meat.
- 29. Place the filled bread halves in the oven.
- 30. Bake the casseroles for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- 31. Place the bread lids back on the casseroles.
- 32. Bake the casseroles for another 5 minutes.
- 33. Remove the casseroles from the oven.
- 34. Let the casseroles cool down slightly.
- 35. Cut the casseroles into portions.
- 36. Serve the portions.
- 37. Cube the hollowed-out bread into small pieces.
- 38. Heat butter in a pan.
- 39. Fry the bread cubes in the butter for about 4 minutes.
- 40. Brown the cubes until golden.
- 41. Lightly salt the fried bread cubes.
- 42. Use the cubes as a side dish for soups or salads.
