🍽️ Tuscan Meatballs with Cheese

Ingredients
- yellow onions 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- basil, fresh 10 g
- mixed ground meat 500 g
- Italian herbs, dried 1 tsp.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- olive oil 2 tbsp.
- tomatoes, chopped 400 g
- tomato paste 20 g
- whipping cream 200 g
- mozzarella 1 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Cut the onion in half and peel off the skin.
- 3. Peel the garlic clove.
- 4. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
- 5. Pluck the leaves from the stems and chop them roughly.
- 6. Place the minced meat, Italian herbs, one teaspoon of salt, and some pepper into the mixing container.
- 7. Mix the ingredients for 20 seconds on speed level 3.
- 8. Shape the mixture into 16 small balls.
- 9. Place the meatballs into a baking dish.
- 10. Put the halved onion and the garlic into the mixing container.
- 11. Chop them for 4 seconds on speed level 8.
- 12. Scrape down the sides with a spatula.
- 13. Add oil and sauté the mixture for 2 minutes on the sauté setting.
- 14. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, cream, salt, and pepper.
- 15. Cook the sauce for 9 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius on speed level 1.
- 16. Meanwhile, let the mozzarella drain.
- 17. Slice the mozzarella.
- 18. Pour the finished sauce over the meatballs.
- 19. Top the balls with the mozzarella slices.
- 20. Bake the dish in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 21. Carefully remove the meatballs from the oven.
- 22. Sprinkle them with the chopped basil.
- 23. Serve the dish hot.
