🍽️ Crispy Meatballs with Feta and Fresh Herb Dip

Ingredients
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- feta 200 g
- minced meat, mixed 400 g
- breadcrumbs 1 tbsp
- thyme, rubbed 1 tsp
- eggs 1 pc.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- mint, fresh 10 g
- parsley, fresh 10 g
- dill, fresh 10 g
- sour cream yogurt, Greek style 150 g
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic clove and chop it very finely.
- 2. Pat the feta dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Place the minced meat, breadcrumbs, thyme, egg, chopped garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- 4. Knead the ingredients into a uniform mixture.
- 5. Take 100 grams of the feta and crumble it.
- 6. Gently fold the feta pieces into the meat mixture.
- 7. Shape the mixture into 12 equal-sized meatballs.
- 8. Place the meatballs in the basket of the air fryer.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 160 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Cook the meatballs for 7 minutes.
- 11. Carefully turn the meatballs over.
- 12. Continue cooking at 160 degrees Celsius for another 5 minutes.
- 13. Rinse the fresh herbs under running water.
- 14. Shake the herbs dry.
- 15. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 16. Set aside a few nice herb sprigs for decoration.
- 17. Finely chop the rest of the herbs.
- 18. Crumble the remaining feta.
- 19. Place the yogurt, chopped herbs, and feta in a small bowl.
- 20. Season the dip with some pepper.
- 21. Stir the dip ingredients well.
- 22. Serve the finished meatballs with the herb dip.
- 23. Garnish the dish with the reserved herb sprigs.
- 24. Serve the dish with flatbread.
