🍽️ Savory Minced Meat and Olive Pie

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 3 pc.
- vine tomatoes 500 g
- organic lemons 1 pc.
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- pork mince 600 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- oregano, dried 1 tsp
- feta 200 g
- olives, black 100 g
- eggs 3 pc.
- sour cream 200 g
- milk 3 tbsp
- puff pastry 1 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onion, peel it, and cut it into small cubes.
- 2. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes, halve them, remove the stem and seeds, and dice the flesh.
- 4. Thoroughly wash the lemon under hot water.
- 5. Finely grate about one teaspoon of the lemon zest.
- 6. Heat the oil in a pot over high heat.
- 7. Fry the minced meat for about five minutes until it breaks into crumbles.
- 8. Season the meat mixture with salt, pepper, oregano, and the lemon zest.
- 9. Add the onions, garlic, and tomatoes.
- 10. Cook the vegetables with the meat for another five minutes.
- 11. Let the meat mixture cool down briefly.
- 12. Drain the feta cheese and cut it into cubes.
- 13. Drain the olives and chop them roughly.
- 14. Set aside half of the feta cheese.
- 15. Mix the remaining meat mixture with the remaining feta cubes and the olives.
- 16. Season the filling to taste.
- 17. Whisk the eggs, sour cream, milk, pepper, and a pinch of salt together in a separate bowl.
- 18. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 19. Line the bottom of a 28-centimeter springform pan with baking paper.
- 20. Grease the sides of the pan with butter.
- 21. Roll out the puff pastry slightly into a round shape.
- 22. Place the dough in the pan and form a border about five centimeters high.
- 23. Fill the meat mixture into the pastry case.
- 24. Pour the egg and cream mixture evenly over the filling.
- 25. Sprinkle the remaining feta cheese over the pie.
- 26. Bake the pie in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- 27. Cut the finished pie into pieces and serve it hot or lukewarm.
