🥗 Gyros Wraps with Tzatziki and Salad

Ingredients
- Sour cream yogurt Greek style 250 g
- Gouda, grated 100 g
- Eggs 3 pcs.
- Gyro spice 3 tsp
- minute steaks from pork 600 g
- Onions, red 2 pcs.
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Cherry tomatoes Mix 150 g
- Cucumbers 1 pcs.
- Salt Pinch
- Lemons 1 pcs.
- Pepper, black ground Pinch
- Garlic cloves 1 pcs.
- Salad Mix 50 g
- Yogurt, plain 150 g
- Mint, fresh 10 g
- Parsley, fresh 10 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. In a bowl, mix together cream yogurt, grated cheese, eggs, and one teaspoon of gyro seasoning.
- 3. Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 4. Bake the dough for 20 minutes in the oven.
- 5. Rinse the meat under cold water and pat it dry with kitchen paper.
- 6. Cut the meat into thin strips.
- 7. Halve the onions, peel them, and cut them into strips as well.
- 8. Combine the meat and onions in a bowl.
- 9. Add two tablespoons of oil and two teaspoons of gyro seasoning, then mix everything well.
- 10. Wash the cherry tomatoes and halve them.
- 11. Wash the cucumber and halve it lengthwise.
- 12. Remove the seeds from one of the cucumber halves and grate it coarsely.
- 13. Slice the other cucumber half into thin rounds.
- 14. Sprinkle the grated cucumber with salt and let it sit for ten minutes.
- 15. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
- 16. Finely chop the garlic clove.
- 17. Wash the salad greens and cut them into strips.
- 18. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan over medium to high heat.
- 19. Fry the seasoned meat vigorously for about five minutes.
- 20. Squeeze the grated cucumber with your hands to remove the excess liquid.
- 21. Discard the released juice.
- 22. In a bowl, mix the drained cucumber with plain yogurt and the chopped garlic.
- 23. Season the tzatziki mixture with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 24. Wash the mint and parsley and shake off excess water.
- 25. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 26. Take the baked dough out of the oven.
- 27. Spread the tzatziki sauce thinly over the dough.
- 28. Top the dough with salad, gyro meat, tomatoes, cucumber slices, mint, and parsley.
- 29. Roll the dough up tightly.
- 30. Cut the wrap into thick slices.
