  1. 1. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly, trim the ends, and slice or shave them into thin rounds. Place the cucumber slices in a sieve, mix with about 1 tsp of salt, and let them drain for about 30 minutes.
  2. 2. In the meantime, combine vinegar, oil, mustard, and sugar in a bowl, and season with salt and pepper. Halve the onion, peel it, dice finely, and add to the dressing. Wash the dill, pluck the tips, and chop finely.
  3. 3. Thoroughly squeeze the cucumber slices and add them to the dressing. Fold in the dill and season with salt and pepper. Serve the cucumber salad with vinegar-oil dressing immediately or refrigerate it. Enjoy your meal!
