  1. 1. Cut the onion in half and remove the outer skin.
  2. 2. Dice the onion very finely.
  3. 3. Wash the dill thoroughly and shake off excess water.
  4. 4. Remove the thick stems from the dill.
  5. 5. Finely chop the dill leaves.
  6. 6. Wash the cucumber under running water.
  7. 7. Cut off the hard ends of the cucumber.
  8. 8. Quarter the cucumber lengthwise into long strips.
  9. 9. Cut the cucumber strips into coarse, irregular pieces.
  10. 10. Take a large bowl and add two tablespoons of vinegar.
  11. 11. Add half of the finely chopped dill to the bowl.
  12. 12. Add the finely diced onions to the bowl.
  13. 13. Add one teaspoon of mustard to the bowl.
  14. 14. Add half a teaspoon of raw cane sugar to the bowl.
  15. 15. Add half a teaspoon of salt to the bowl.
  16. 16. Add a pinch of pepper to the bowl.
  17. 17. Add three tablespoons of olive oil to the bowl.
  18. 18. Stir all ingredients in the bowl well until a homogeneous sauce forms.
  19. 19. Add the cut cucumber pieces to the bowl with the sauce.
  20. 20. Gently fold the cucumbers in until they are completely coated with the sauce.
  21. 21. Place the salad on a plate.
  22. 22. Sprinkle the finished salad with the remaining dill.
  23. 23. Serve the salad immediately and enjoy!
