🥤 Refreshing Cucumber Gimlet with Hampstead Dry Gin

Ingredients
- basil, fresh 30 g
- organic limes 1 pc.
- cucumbers 1 pc.
- brown sugar 50 g
- gin, Wild Burrow 150 ml
- water 400 ml
- ice cubes 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the basilica thoroughly and dry it.
- 2. Remove the thick stems from the basilica.
- 3. Take four nice basilica leaves for decoration and set them aside.
- 4. Cut the lime in half.
- 5. Squeeze the juice of the lime.
- 6. Rinse the cucumber.
- 7. Peel four long strips from the cucumber skin with a peeler.
- 8. Set the cucumber strips aside for decoration.
- 9. Peel the rest of the cucumber.
- 10. Cut the peeled cucumber into coarse pieces.
- 11. Put the cucumber pieces, the basilica, the sugar, the lime juice, the gin and the water in a tall container.
- 12. Puree the mixture very finely.
- 13. Pour the mixture through a sieve into a measuring cup.
- 14. Distribute the ice cubes on four glasses.
- 15. Pour the cucumber gimlet over the ice cubes.
- 16. Decorate each glass with a cucumber strip and a basilica leaf.
- 17. Serve the drink and cheers!
