Ingredients
- eggs 2 pcs
- lemons 1 pcs
- mustard 1 tsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sunflower oil 250 ml
- sugar pinch
Instructions
- 1. Separate the eggs. Save the egg whites for another dish.
- 2. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 3. Place the egg yolks in a bowl.
- 4. Add mustard, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Whisk the ingredients vigorously with a whisk.
- 6. Add the sunflower oil drop by drop.
- 7. Keep whisking continuously.
- 8. Once the mayonnaise thickens, pour in the oil in a thin stream.
- 9. Continue whisking until the mayonnaise is creamy.
- 10. Add the lemon juice.
- 11. Season the mayonnaise with a little sugar.
- 12. Adjust the seasoning with salt.
- 13. Use the mayonnaise as a dip, for dressings, or as a spread for bread.
- 14. Store the mayonnaise in the refrigerator.
- 15. Consume the mayonnaise within a few days.
