🍽️ Simple Pesto Rosso Base Recipe

Ingredients
- pine nuts 2 tbsp
- parmesan 40 g
- garlic cloves 1 pc
- tomatoes, dried 100 g
- olive oil 100 ml
- sugar pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat without adding any fat.
- 2. Roast the pine nuts in the pan for about 2 minutes until they are golden brown.
- 3. Cut the Parmesan cheese into small pieces.
- 4. Peel the garlic cloves and cut them in half.
- 5. Place the roasted pine nuts, dried tomatoes, Parmesan, and garlic into a tall blending cup.
- 6. Pour in olive oil and blend the ingredients into a creamy paste.
- 7. Season the paste with sugar and pepper to taste.
- 8. Transfer the pesto into a jar for storage or use it immediately.
