  3. 3. Heat the mixture on low to medium heat.
  4. 4. Wait until the sugar turns brownish.
  5. 5. Add the chopped almonds.
  6. 6. Stir everything well with a wooden spoon.
  7. 7. Set the pan to low heat.
  8. 8. Caramelize the mixture while stirring constantly.
  9. 9. Spread the hot almond caramel mixture onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
