🍽️ Creamy Kale with Mettwurst and Potatoes

Ingredients
- Kale, fresh 600 g
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Potatoes, mainly firm 800 g
- Bacon strips 100 g
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Mustard 5 tbsp
- Vegetable broth 1 L
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Mettwurst 400 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the kale thoroughly and let it drain. Remove the tough stems. Halve the onion and peel it. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into quarters or halves depending on their size.
- 2. Place 200 grams of kale into the mixing container. Chop it for 20 seconds on speed 5. Transfer the chopped kale into a bowl. Repeat this process twice with the remaining kale.
- 3. Place the halved onion into the mixing container. Chop it for 4 seconds on speed 8. Push the onion pieces down with a spatula. Add the bacon strips and oil. Cook the mixture for 4 minutes on the sauté setting. Add half of the chopped kale and simmer everything for 3 minutes at 120 degrees on speed 2. Add the remaining kale and simmer for another 3 minutes at 120 degrees on speed 2.
- 4. Place the potatoes into the deep steam cooking insert. Add 1 tablespoon of mustard, the hot vegetable broth, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt to the mixing container. Place the Mettwurst sausages into the shallow steam cooking insert. Place both steam cooking inserts onto the mixing container. Close the device and cook everything for 45 minutes on the steam cooking setting.
- 5. Remove the steam cooking insert. Season the kale to taste with salt, pepper, and sugar. Serve the kale together with the Mettwurst, potatoes, and mustard. Enjoy your meal!
