  2. 2. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
  3. 3. Cut the potatoes in half.
  4. 4. Cut the onion in half and peel it.
  5. 5. Dice the onion.
  6. 6. Heat the oil in a large pot over high heat.
  7. 7. Sauté the onion cubes for about 2 minutes.
  8. 8. Add the kale and broth to the pot.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with a bit of salt.
  10. 10. Let the stew simmer covered for about 45 minutes over medium heat.
  11. 11. After about 20 minutes of cooking time, add the kassler, pork belly, and potato halves.
  12. 12. Continue to cook everything together for the remaining time.
  13. 13. Season the kale stew with mustard, salt, and pepper.
  14. 14. Remove the kassler and pork belly from the stew.
  15. 15. Cut the meat into even pieces.
  16. 16. Plate the meat on deep dishes.
  17. 17. Serve the kale stew with the meat.
