  9. 9. Remove thick stems from the kale if necessary.
  10. 10. Place the kale in the boiling water.
  11. 11. Blanch the kale for about 3 minutes (cook briefly in boiling water).
  12. 12. Drain the kale in a sieve.
  13. 13. Let the kale drain.
  14. 14. Chop the kale roughly.
  15. 15. Halve the onions.
  16. 16. Peel the onions.
  17. 17. Chop the onions roughly.
  18. 18. Peel the apples.
  19. 19. Core the apples.
  20. 20. Cube the apples.
  21. 21. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  22. 22. Add the apples and onions to the pan.
  23. 23. Sauté the apples and onions for about 2 to 3 minutes.
