🍽️ Creamy Green Pea Hummus

Ingredients
- Salt pinch
- Peas, frozen 300 g
- Sesame, white 4 tbsp
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- Lemons 1 pc.
- Cumin pinch
- Olive oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Bring about 1 liter of water with salt to a boil in a pot.
- 2. Add the green peas to the boiling water and cook them for about 2 minutes (this is called blanching).
- 3. Drain the peas and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 4. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan without fat over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 5. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 6. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice from one half.
- 7. Place the cooled peas, lemon juice, chopped garlic, half of the toasted sesame seeds, and cumin into a tall container.
- 8. Blend the ingredients until very smooth.
- 9. If the mixture is too thick, add a little cold water.
- 10. Season the hummus with salt to taste.
- 11. Spread the hummus onto a plate.
- 12. Drizzle some olive oil over it and sprinkle with the remaining sesame seeds.
- 13. Serve the hummus and enjoy your meal!
