  1. 1. Place the wooden skewers in a bowl of cold water and let them soak.
  2. 2. Peel the shallots and cut them into quarters lengthwise.
  3. 3. Peel the pineapple, remove the hard core, and cut the flesh into cubes.
  4. 4. Wash the peppers thoroughly, halve them, remove the core and seeds, and cut them into approx. 2 cm cubes.
  5. 5. Rinse the cod, pat it dry with a kitchen towel, and cut it into approx. 2 cm pieces.
  6. 6. Wash the lime, halve it, and squeeze out the juice.
  7. 7. In a bowl, mix the oil, 1 tbsp lime juice, honey, chili, and pepper well.
  8. 8. Add the cod, peppers, pineapple, and shallots to the marinade and mix everything well.
  9. 9. Thread the marinated ingredients onto the prepared wooden skewers as desired.
  10. 10. Grill the skewers over hot coals for approx. 8 minutes.
  11. 11. Carefully turn the skewers until the peppers look slightly charred.
  12. 12. Arrange the skewers on plates and serve.
