  4. 4. Fry the apple cubes for about 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Sprinkle the apples with 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  6. 6. Caramelize the sugar for about 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Deglaze the apple mixture with orange juice.
  8. 8. Simmer the apples for approx. 6 minutes until soft.
  9. 9. Add the cranberries and cinnamon.
  10. 10. Season the compote to taste.
  11. 11. Bring milk, sugar, and salt to a boil in a separate pot.
  12. 12. Stir the semolina into the hot milk while stirring constantly.
  13. 13. Let the porridge swell for about 3 to 5 minutes over low heat.
  14. 14. Stir occasionally to prevent the porridge from becoming too firm.
  15. 15. Distribute the semolina pudding evenly onto plates.
  16. 16. Garnish the pudding with the apple-cranberry compote.
