  1. 1. Cut the pomegranates in half.
  2. 2. Gently squeeze the flesh to extract the juice.
  3. 3. Pour the juice through a fine sieve to remove seeds and fibers.
  4. 4. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out its juice.
  5. 5. Add 300 milliliters of pomegranate juice, three tablespoons of lemon juice, and 200 grams of sugar to a pot.
  6. 6. Stir the mixture well until the sugar has dissolved.
  7. 7. Heat the liquid on medium heat.
  8. 8. Let the syrup simmer gently for about five minutes.
  9. 9. Pour the hot pomegranate syrup into a flip-top bottle.
  10. 10. Seal the bottle well and let the syrup cool down.
  11. 11. Add two to three tablespoons of the cooled pomegranate syrup into a glass.
  12. 12. Top up the glass with chilled champagne.
  13. 13. Serve the pomegranate spritz immediately and enjoy.
